Denise Reed – Loan Officer

Before joining First Federal Savings as a Loan Officer in 2024, Denise Reed spent years working as a closing agent for a title company, conducting real estate closings for numerous financial institutions across the region. Through that experience, she gained a unique perspective on how lenders work with their customers.

“Closings involving First Federal always stood out,” Denise recalls. “The transactions were efficient and organized, and the communication with loan officers was exceptional.”

But what made the biggest impression wasn’t just the process—it was the relationships.

“Customers would often share how personal their experience had been with First Federal. I heard many times that the bank helped them become homeowners when other institutions couldn’t. That really stuck with me.”

Through her work as a settlement agent and title processor, Denise built strong professional relationships with First Federal staff and customers. When she and her husband built their own home in 2022, choosing First Federal for their construction loan felt natural.

Inspired by those experiences, Denise began considering a career in lending.

“There was really only one place I wanted to work,” she says. “First Federal.”

When the opportunity arose in 2024, Denise joined the team as a Loan Officer.
